Oversee day to day operations of the warehouse ensuring efficient and safe storage and distribution of goods. Responsible for moving, handling, allocating and transferring material, equipment, parts, supplies, and finished products within the facility under general supervision.
Provide administrative support to senior-level personnel in the Maintenance and Repair department.
Ensures accuracy of vessel documentation related to USCG are processed in a timely manner, entered Computer Based Maintenance system properly, and placed on vessels.
Provide accurate and clear invoices for assigned accounts. Facilitate Sales requests when related to contract or invoice issues.
Responsible for every type of maintenance or repair of vessel equipment. Directly responsible for dockside problem-solving and major shipyard repairs, scheduled and unscheduled repairs.
Keep all Kirby vessels operational in a safe and cost-effective manner.
Provide the daily analysis and verification of all boat and barge traffic, facilitate Sales/Billing requests on traffic related issues.
Supervise all aspects of KIM crew changes for the purpose of keeping the assigned vessels fully crewed with qualified employees. Work closely with the Crewing Manager and Vessel Operations to develop and implement crewing plans for scheduled and unscheduled crew. Maintain data in the Crew Management
