Kirby Inland Marine is seeking a Fleet Dispatcher in Corpus Christi, TX. The Dispatcher will facilitate the communication of information between vessel and shoreside personnel including transmission of orders, gathering of traffic, coordination of dockside activities and notification of incidents.

Kirby Offshore Marine is seeking a Port Engineer to assist with day-to-day vessel repairs, execute scheduled regulatory shipyards, and various other Engineering related shore side support. Port Engineer will be assigned a fleet of vessels and will be communicating with the vessel crews, vendors, and regulatory agencies frequently.

Provide shoreside support to vessel crewmembers regarding all aspects of their operation.

This shoreside position provides ground support and general fleet maintenance services to ensure safe, clean, and operational fleet facilities. Responsibilities include grounds upkeep, mooring line splicing, fleet inspections, and general maintenance support across multiple fleet locations.

Cleaning facility PIC performs the tasks associated with ensuring a barge is safe for entry by testing the atmosphere. Once the barge is tested safe by a licensed industrial hygienist the helper will then perform the duties required to strip and clean the barge in order to prepare it for its next cargo per owners’ specifications. The PIC must adhere to Kirby’s training, safety, drug, and security requirements in order to insure safe and efficient working conditions for barge cleaning.
